Common questions
- What is the colour of the day?
- The colour is taken from the real hue of the stone you draw: amethyst gives deep violet #6B4E8C, aquamarine gives sea mist #7FA9B0. Enter a birthday and turn the card, and the swatch, the colour name and the hex code appear together.
- Which crystal do I get today?
- Enter a birthday and press the button. The page picks one of twenty-four stones from that birthday and today's date, and shows what it is made of, how hard it is, where it comes from, and the fake most often sold as it. It changes daily.
- How is the colour chosen?
- It is not a random colour. Whichever stone comes up, its real hue becomes the colour of the day, so the colour and the stone always belong together. Each of the twenty-four stones has its own colour name and hex code.
- How do you tell a real crystal from a fake?
